So what's changing about the web? Let's get right to it shall we?

For starters, it's gotten faster. No, not the Internet itself, but the Internet experience for most users.

Broadband high-speed access is now reaching critical mass. More people have high-speed access now, than people who are still stuck on slow dial-up access. This means new technology and information delivery methods are finally becoming mainstream.

And this has given birth to one technology in particular that you need to be focused on from now on -- especially if you want to cash in on the web...

Video.

Video is without a doubt, changing the Internet forever. The businesses adopting video in this still-early stage are cashing in big-time. Even small mom and pop shops and affiliate marketers are seeing serious results when adding video to their web businesses.

So exactly how do you cash in on this rapidly advancing technology?

Here's a crash course on leveraging video for profit...

1. Use video to inform...

Video makes great content! More and more people watch video online as a way of learning new things.

You no longer need expensive equipment to create videos and upload to the web. Any video camera from an electronics retailer will work just be fine. If you have a video camera that you purchased within 2-3 years ago, it's resolution is good enough to make videos for the internet. Of course any new camera is far superior to it.

You can also make videos called screen capture recordings. The best software for this is called Camtasia. It lets you record tasks as you do them on your computer, then plays the session back as a training video. I used this software when I created my ezWebBusinessBuilder program and it worked great.

Of course, you do not have to create your own videos at all if you don't want to. There are lots of video sharing sites where you can find helpful videos you can post at your site. All you have to do is paste the video's "embed code" into your web page and the video will appear on your site. I'll share a list of video sharing sites at the bottom of this article.

2. Use video to grow your opt-in email list...

Growing an opt-in email list is still one of the most powerful ways to grow a business online. It is something that you can setup once and watch it grow continually.

Every time you get a new subscriber, your autoresponder can follow up with them on a pre-determined schedule. This forms valuable relationships and makes sales for you literally while you sleep. Plus, you can broadcast special messages to your opt-in list anytime you want.

The best way to use video to grow your subscriber lists is with a video squeeze page. A video squeeze is a single web page with an informative video. After watching the video the visitor can request more information about the subject through your opt-in form.

3. Use video to "pre-sell"...

Whether you are selling your own products or services, or you're selling as an affiliate, there are lots of ways to use video to pre-sell.

For example, when I sell my ezWebBusinessBuilder software I show my visitors a video review from one of my customers. I also show them a sample training video from the software itself.

From the day I added those videos to my site I saw an increase in sales. It's no coincidence.

No matter what you are selling, you can use video to increase sales. Make a video of your product or service being used. Ask one of your best customers to do a video testimonial. Search youtube.com for existing customer reviews of products or services you sell. You may be surprised to find something you can use right away!

4. Use video to generate free website traffic...

There are lots of ways to get traffic using videos. A simple way to get started is to post videos about your product or service at the web's popular video sharing sites such as youtube.com. Use your website address whenever you can in your video description, as well as in the video itself. That will help you route traffic from the video to your site.

Here's a list of sites to get you started...

Youtube.com

Video.Google.com

Blip.tv

Revver.com

Jumpcut.com

Once you've posted videos you should continue sharing them at more social web 2.0 sites across the web. When done tactfully, this can create a nice flow of viral traffic that can actually be hard to slow down even if you wanted to!

Some more top social sites to spread the word about your videos include...

Digg.com

Del.icio.us

Furl.com

Twango.com

Vsocial.com

In closing...

I hope today's gazette at least gets you thinking about how you can use video to make money online. This strategy really works, even if you're brand new to web business.

In fact, I spoke with someone today using the video marketing strategy outlined above for just a couple months, and he's already made $6,000. And he started from scratch promoting affiliate products. So yes, you can do this too!

If you would like to cash in on the explosion of web video but need more help getting started, drop me a line. I've been working on a secret project with a brilliant programmer and it's just about ready. It's an ingenious system (if I do say so myself) that automates every task I spoke about in today's newsletter.

Remember, the massive growth of this new technology will only happen once in history. You're here to witness it, so why to use it to your financial gain!

To your success...
Jim Daniels
