Why Are You Listening To These People?
Do you dream of having
a business of your own? A dream of someday achieving true
financial independence? (No need for a job!) If so, there's a
good chance it's within you, but the "dream crushers"
are holding you back.
I'm sure you know some of these people personally. They are the
people who discourage others from trying to change their lives
for the better. And they are all around you.
Today I want to point these people out to you, so you can see
how (and why!) they are holding you back. After all, I've known
many of them personally through the years, and it took me a long
time to shake them
loose!

Fact: When you are trying to do something "outside the box"
like make money online or start your own business, many people
will have a negative attitude toward you. They may talk about
you behind your back, laugh at you or even tell you you're
wasting your time.
It's important to understand their motivation for throwing a
wet towel on your dreams. Only then can you overcome these
obstacles. Let's take a look at who these people are, and why
are they trying to discourage you...
Dream Crusher Profile #1: The Fearful
Beware: Usually a spouse or close relative!
The main argument these dream crushers have is that you are a
"dreamer". They will advise you to be more "practical", and may
even think they are offering you sound advice.
But anyone who discourages you from trying something new is
only giving you insight into what they would do in
your position. They may not have the vision and the drive that
you have. Their negative attitude toward your dreams may come
from their own fears. They prefer the security of a job and a
regular paycheck. But what kind of security is there in today's
job market?
Many of these fearful dream crushers believe they are doing you a
favor by discouraging you. They think they are helping you live
a life in "your best interest". But really, they are encouraging
you to a live a life without vision.
Dream Crusher Profile #2: The Jealous
Beware: Usually a friend or co-worker.
Yes, some dream crushers are simply intimidated by your
potential for success. They know you have potential and think
they'll be "left in the dust" when you succeed. The last thing
these people want is one of their friends or co-workers becoming
wealthy. It's sad, but it's true.
They would never admit it, but deep down, they would be
jealous if you made it. That's what's motivating their behavior
toward you. All they really want is for you to stay "one of the crowd",
just like them -- unhappy with their daily grind but too
unmotivated to do something serious about it.
But not everyone is cut out to be part of the crowd. You may be
more motivated toward success than these "worker bees", and
doing anything less than your ambitious goals will be
unfulfilling for you. If you stick with the crowd forever, you
may end up wondering what could have been.

So how do you overcome the dream crushers in your life?
First, identify their motivation and understand it's normal.
Then let these other people take the path of least resistance
and stick with their unfulfilling jobs forever.
That does not mean that you have to.
Your goals are important to
you for a reason. You will only be happy when you achieve them.
Giving up on your goals because other people think they are
unrealistic is no way to live your life.
Next, choose who you spend the bulk of your time with. If you
want to be self-motivated, you've got to spend time with other
people who are self-motivated. If you know nobody like that,
then spend more time by yourself for a while, planning your
success.
If the dream killers in your life are close relatives, long time
friends, or even a spouse, you certainly cannot avoid them, but
you can keep your business goals to yourself for a
while until you get going. By the time you've had a little
success, they will probably be a lot more supportive. You can
then sit down and have a long talk with them. Tell them you have
been putting together a secret plan and it is coming together.
Tell them you simply want something more than the usual 9-5
grind and you're going for it. Ask for their help in some way
and you may be surprised at the reception.
Finally, the best way to overcome the dream crushers in your
life is to be confident in yourself and your goals. If you are
truly confident in yourself and your ideas, then no one can stop
you.
Keep your goals and dreams in front of you all the time. They
will be your motivation, when some of your "well-meaning"
friends or relatives try to discourage you.
Don't let anyone crush YOUR dream!
If your dream is to gain financial independence in your life,
then the Internet is the best place to make it happen. Anyone
can use the Internet to make themselves financially independent.
Unfortunately, too many people think that all they have to do is
start their business and wait for the money to come to them.
This is not how it works at all. You have to do certain things
if the Internet is going to make you financially free.
Step One: Plan It.
You need a plan if you are going to succeed in any
business. If your business will be Internet-based,
watch this
home-made video. One of my subscribers just recorded
it. It shows you how he replaced his 9-5 job and now does
something he actually loves. Oh, and he makes a lot more money
now.
(Pay close attention to his advice near the end of that
video -- he identifies another potential dream crusher --
yourself!) After you've watched the video, download by free guide at
that page. It walks you through growing your own source of
financial independence via the Internet.
Step Two: Work It.
Sure, a business of your own can give you more free time...
eventually. But during the start-up period you have to be
prepared to work. This means you have to be motivated. If you
don't work your business every day then you will not see results
as quickly as you want.
Step Three: Don't Give Up.
No matter how many people tell you the Internet is the way to
overnight riches, understand that it is not. It will not
be quick and easy, but you can make your business a success. You
simply have to be
prepared to do what ever it takes. You also have to be willing
to put in the time and effort to build your business. It will
take time and it will take patience. Adopt the attitude that you
will not quit no matter what, until you have achieved your
financial goals. Then you will set new goals and achieve them.
No go forth... and show those dream crushers what you're
really made of!
To your success...
